Week 5 - MBA 6101 - Developing a Creative Marketing Strategy

Now that you have created a logo and have your marketing plan in place, it is time to look at how creativity can be used to create your marketing strategy. Jay Conrad Levinson in
Guerilla Marketing suggests this can be done in three simple sentences. Start with the purpose of the advertising campaign, including the target audience, then list how you plan to accomplish your purpose, and finish with the mood and tone the campaign will use to accomplish this purpose. For example, Lecuyer Consulting could use the below marketing strategy.

The purpose of advertising for Lecuyer Consulting is to convince leaders of clinical trial patient safety at pharmaceutical companies that these consulting services will help them understand the technology tools available for patient safety oversight while meeting the vaguely defined requirements and expectations of regulatory authorities. This will be accomplished by creating a visual representation of the difficult to follow regulatory requirements being streamlined and untangled by data analytics technology tools. The mood and tone of the advertising campaign will be honest, clear, and concise.

Since the goal of this advertising campaign is to bring customers in to gain clarity on the expectations of regulatory authorities, it will focus on how lost pharmaceutical companies may be when it comes to understanding these requirements. This can be done using visual cues of taking disorder and creating order. Additionally, since the campaign is specifically focusing on data analytics technology tools it will contain visuals of graphs. Finally, since we want the target audience to contact Lecuyer Consulting, it will use the logo as the final piece of the advertising puzzle.

Week 4 - MBA 6101 - A Marketing Plan: The Cornerstone of Your Success

According to Guerilla Marketing  by Jay Conrad Levinson, a good marketing plan can be the difference between success and failure for a business. He suggests that an entrepreneur put together their market plan before ever selling their first product or providing service for the first time. A marketing plan should be simple and straightforward, it will help define the identity of a business and how the company will interact with customers. The first step is to answer the below seven questions to develop a marketing plan to guide your business strategy. What is the purpose of marketing your product or service? Why should customers choose your product or services? Who is your target audience? What marketing tools will you use to meet your purpose? Where do you fit in within the market? How do you want customers to see or identify your company? How much are you willing to invest in your marketing plan? For instance, if you were looking to start consulting for a pharmaceutical...

Week 2 - MBA 6101 - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Application in Safety Oversight for Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are crucial for the development and approval of new medical treatments and drugs. However, ensuring the safety of the participants is of utmost importance. This is where the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) can play a significant role. These technologies can help streamline the safety oversight process and make it more effective, thereby improving the overall quality of clinical trials. Here are some of the key applications of AI and ML in safety oversight for clinical trials: 1.    Adverse Event Monitoring: AI algorithms can be trained to detect and identify adverse events that occur during a clinical trial. The algorithms can analyze large amounts of data quickly and accurately, which can help identify potential safety risks earlier and prevent adverse events from reoccurring. 2.   Predictive Modeling: AI algorithms can be used to develop predictive models that can help identify participants who are at higher risk of experien...

Week 8 - MBA 6101 - Guerilla Marketing Techniques in the Pharmaceutical Industry

In chapter 8 of Guerilla Marketing , Jay Conrad Levinson discusses how to make your marketing efforts stand out and get noticed in a crowded marketplace. It's about thinking outside the box and being creative with your messaging, tactics, and strategies to grab the attention of your audience. When it comes to the pharmaceutical industry, there are many challenges to marketing drugs and medical devices. The industry is heavily regulated, and there are strict guidelines that must be followed when promoting pharmaceutical products. However, this doesn't mean that there isn't room for creative marketing tactics. In fact, in some cases, guerilla marketing techniques can be highly effective in the pharmaceutical industry. One way to use guerilla marketing in the pharmaceutical industry is by focusing on education and awareness. Instead of simply promoting a drug or medical device, you can create content that helps people understand the condition or disease that the product is i...
